Hose reel installation guidelines:
On receipt of consignment ensure that the carton and contents have not sustained visible damage and that all parts are supplied. Shortages or damage must be notified within 7 working days.
Store in a clean and dry place.
Prior to fitting ensure that the recess dimensions are correct and that the structure where hose reel is fitted to, has sufficient strength to support the hose reel.
Fire hose reels should be installed by a competent person in accordance with the instructions and contained within this guidance booklet and BS 5306 Part 1:1988 by a competent person. The installer must be familiar with this Standard. We do not accept any responsibility for improper installation resulting from the installer's failure to meet the above standard or follow the installation instructions contained within this guidance booklet.
Maximum working pressure 12 bar (static)
Pipeline work must be thoroughly flushed out before connection to the hose reel, to prevent damage or blockage by debris.
Warning: Fire hose reels are designed for first aid fighting purposes.
If they are to be used for purpose other than for which they are designed, then our advice should be sought before installation.
