High Pressure CO2 Fire Suppression System
Parts: Stored cylinder, pilot cylinder, flexbile hose, no-return valve (for stored cylinder), low leakage and high sealing valve and no return valve, etc.
The carbon dioxide is liquidized by high pressure and stored in cylinders, when spraying the carbon dioxide is expending sharply and absorbing a large quantity of heat, thus to reduce the temperature of the fire scene and dilute the oxygen level of the protected zone so as to put the fire out. Carbon dioxide is a inert gas, which is inexpensive, non-polluted, dissipated, and traceless. The carbon dioxide fire extinguishing system is able to put gas fire out after the gas supply source is cut, and it is also able to put out liquid fire, solid fire of fusible materials such as paraffin and asphalt, solid surface fire, deep-seated solid fire such as wincey, fabric, and paper, and electric fire, etc. The system is applicable to libraries, archives, database, bulk storages of liquid, computer rooms, communication rooms, generator rooms, substation rooms, oil immersion slots, mechanical mills, drying devices, and lacquer product lines. Note that carbon dioxide causes asphyxiation and the system shall be used where no people are involved. If the system takes effect in working places appropriate measures shall be taken to ensure safety.
The system puts out fires in a sealed room in a total flooding mode, it also works in a local application mode to put out non deep-seated fire of protected objects where sealed rooms are not required. The local application mode uses special nozzles which allow the extinguishing agent acts fully on combustion object directly, the system keeps supplying extinguishing agent on the combustion object for a certain time and intensity in order to put out the fire.
